Mangalore, Feb 15: “India is a country different from all others. We are in a country which celebrates different religions, castes, and diversity,” said Prof Yogendra Yadav, executive member, Aam Aadmi Party, after symbolically inaugurating the party in the district in a function held in the city.
He added that our forefathers rejected the European ideology of one religion, one language, one state and instead believed in unity in diversity.
Prof Yadav explained the ideology of the party saying that when people ask him how a tiny party such as his could face the monsters his reply would be, “We have the blessing of the people of this country where a great revolution took place through small groups. We hope that we will succeed.”
“Our country has plenty of resources, wealth, and even a lot of problems like needy people who do not have food and shelter to lead a peaceful life,” said Prof Yadav.
While talking of building the Aam Aadmi Party politically, he said, “Our country’s systems, politics, and education are poor and we are made intellectual slaves by the politicians. Politics is the only the way to change and transform the society and to root out the ills. Joining politics and making the country better is real ‘Yuga Dharma’. Though we are a tiny party we have the moral strength, truth, and blessings from the ‘Aam Aadmi’ and we hope to achieve success.”
Talking about the forthcoming elections Prof Yadav said, “We will not compete the elections this time. We will first strengthen ourselves.”
