India-Palestine friendly on iStream


New Delhi, Feb 6 (IANS): The India-Palestine international football friendly, slated for Wednesday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, will be streamed live on iStream.

iStream has entered into a partnership with Ten Sports for live streaming and video on demand rights for this international friendly across all online and mobile platforms, globally.

Atul Pande, CEO Ten Sports, said: "Ten Sports believes in bringing the best sports action to its audiences wherever they are. The partnership with iStream is a step in this direction as it ensures that our digital platforms complement the broadcast on television of this much awaited game for the fans all across.

"The unprecedented success of UEFA Euro 2012 earlier and more recently the Brazilian Football League on iStream.com has shown that there is a huge uptake for online football viewing in the country," says Radhakrishnan Ramachandran, founder & CEO of iStream.com.

The Indian team has also been invited to play in the Al Nakba Cup, a friendly international football tournament hosted by Palestine to be held in May.

    We want matches with Israel, not Palestine. They are linked with Pakis and Iran. Israel is helping India in many ways.
