Kundapur, Feb 1: "With 13 MLA’s resigning from the governing party in the state assembly, the BJP government has lost majority. A government without a majority should be dissolved and re-election should be held", demanded CPI(M) protestors at Shastri circle on Thursday January 31.

"The BJP party has no moral rights to lead the government. The corrupt BJP government due to internal conflict among members resulted in the resignation of 13 MLA’s", said K Shankar, secretary of Udupi CPI(M) district committee.

"The government which lost majority should be dissolved and I am sure people will definitely teach them a lesson in the forthcoming elections", he said.

Mahabala Vaderahobali, taluk secretary, U Das Bhandary, district committee member, H Narasimha, Venkatesh Koni, Suresh Kallagar among others were present.
