Mangalore: Bus knocks down pedestrian at Baikampady

Mangalore, Jan 30: A pedestrian who was walking by the side of the road, was killed by a bus that veered to the left side of the road. The incident occurred on Tuesday January 29 opposite Deepak petrol bunk in Baikampady in the city.

The deceased has been identified as Vittal (22) from Hangal in Haveri district. Reportedly, Vittal had shifted base to the city recently from his home town. He used to work as labourer.

A complaint filed with Panambur police station stated that Vittal was knocked down by a bus that suddenly deviated to left side from its normal course.
