Bantwal: Bike accident - two killed on spot

Bantwal, Jan 28: A biker and a pillion rider died on the spot after their motorcycle skidded near Jarandagudde in Kallige gram on Saturday January 26.

The deceased have been identified as rider Guruprasad (25) and his friend Chandrahaas (20).

The accident occurred when the duo were returning from a house warming ceremony when the rider lost control of the vehicle along a curved road and the duo were thrown off.

A case has been registered at Bantwal police station. Investigation is on.
