Mangalore: Rickshaw topples as bike hits from wrong side

Mangalore, Jan 27: An auto rickshaw ferrying a woman passenger toppled near Nanthur circle here on Sunday January 27 after a speeding bike dashed against it.

The auto rickshaw (KA 19 A 6607) was plying from Nathur towards Bikarnakatte when a bike, coming at a high speed from the wrong side rammed into the rickshaw.

No major injury was reported in the accident.

A crowd gathered at the spot and chaos prevailed for sometime.

No case was registered.

    why the hell the authority is not taking action against the driver's and rider's who are coming from wrong side, i myself had met with an accident, my brand new car was damage because of a donkey driving a rubbish car came from wrong direction...this guys are putting others in jeopardy... the best part is cops are just watching them while the are coming from wrong side.

    Hullo Mangalore Traffic Police! Why was no case registered? 1st - the bike was overspeeding - therefore overspeeding. 2nd- He hit the autorickshaw from the wrong side - rash & negligent driving. If you look at the photos carefully you will see at least 3 persons wearing helmets which are work helmets and not meant for bike riding - HULLO Mangalore Traffic Police - I thought there was a drive by you guys a few days ago regarding the same. Or was it only for 1 day. Were the papers of the autorickshaw and driver in order? Also were the papers of the bike and rider in order? Hullo Mangalore Traffic Police - Please register a case and answer the questions or have you already filled your pockets. Calling Mangalore Traffic Police - HULLO HULLO, anybody listening....
