Dubai, Jan 15: It is celebration time for Yaksha Mithraru, a Yakshagana troupe based in the U.A.E. who have completed ten years of their formation. The troupe is planning to host a grand event with a Yakshagana called 'Shree Kateelu Kshetra Mahatme'. This event will be held on June 14, at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium (The Indian School).
Muhoortha for this Yakshagana was held recently in Dubai with prayer and other rituals by purohith Sri Vasudev bhat of Venus Restaurant. Members and associates of Yaksha Mithraru were present and all prayed for the success of the decennial celebration.
'Shree Kateelu Kshetra Mahathme' will be performed by members of Yaksha Mithraru along with guest artistes from india. Noted Baghavaths Bottikere Purushothama Poonja and Sathish Patla will be specially invited to perform, along with Mohan Shettigar who will play the Chende and Deepak Rao Pejavara will be on a special role.
