Udupi: Various Palimar Projects to be Launched on Jan 14

Udupi, Jan 11: The inaugural ceremony of various projects initiated by Palimar gram panchyat with the help different departments will be held on Monday January 14, near Palimar Rameshwar Circle at 3.30 pm.

The ‘Rameshwar Circle’ will be inaugurated by Shree Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji, Palimar Mutt Seer.

The new bus stand and the public information centre will be inaugurated by Fr Charles Noronha, parish priest of Palimar Church.

The drinking water facility for passengers in the bus stand will be inaugurated by Janab Abdul Rahiman Musliyar, Jumma Masjid, Palimar.

Stage programme will also be held after the inaugural session to be presided over by Giriyappa Poojary, vice president, Palimar panchayat.

Jayaprakash Hegde, Udupi MP, Lalaji R Mendon, MLA, Kaup constituency, Geethanjali Suvarna, ZP member, Amitha Poojary, taluk panchayat member, Vasanth V Salian, ex-minister, Karnataka State and Manjunatayya, CEO, TP, Udupi will be the chief guest.

Francis D’Souza, falimar, Ramdas B Prabhu, Shekar Suru poojary, Dinaker Shetty Meginamane, Haji K S Sayyed and Navayuga Constructions will be the special invitees.

As a part of the cultural programme Tulunada Vaibhava will be held at 6 pm.
