Kuwait, Jan 10: Kuwait Kannada Koota(KKK) conducted its election of the office bearers for the year 2013 during the  annual  general body meeting held on December 28 at the Indian Community School Khaitan.

The members of the association unanimously elected R Dinesh as president, Vijay Kumar Kairangala as vice president, Ramesh P as general secretary,  Ramesh Chikkanna as treasurer.

The newly elected executive committee of 2013 organized a meeting with various subcommittee conveners and members (cultural, public relation, sports, marala mallige, web, media and souvenir committee) on January 4 and the members of the different committees shared their ideas and opinions.

    Cogratulations to the newly elected office bearers of K K K for the year 2013 . Special congratulations to Mr.R.Dinesh for being unanimously elected as President of The Kuwait Kannada Koota ( To write it in readable form with due complience with the rule of transliteratn =
    " KUWAIT:< KANNAD:A KUUT:A "
    A lot of discussion will take place in near future at proper platform to apply correct transliteration so that those who read our Kannad:a and Thul:u words will read with correct meaning and pronounciation.
    More later . Let us spread the method or need of reading the correct pronounciation of Kannad:a words (Also Thul:u words ) while reading itself then these are written using English script. Lot of efforts are required to convince but it will be still meaningfull specially when we write kannad:a version using English sript.
