Mangalore, Dec 7: In connection to the murder of Raziya and her daughter Fathima (8), residents of Panjimogeru which ocurred on June 28 2011, the Mangalore police have still not caught hold of the accused even after completion of 1 year and 5 months, reported Hakim Kulur, joint secretary of Kulur Muhiyuddin Jumma Masjid.
He addressed the media at a meet held at press club on Friday December 6.
"There is no justice recieved for the cruel murder which took place in the broad daylight. Even after handing over the case to COD officials, the culprit is still not arrested", he alleged.
"In this regard, we have approached several ministers, officials, but all efforts went in vain. We demand quick probe in the matter", he added.
Hence, we demand police officials to appoint higher officials in the matter and arrest the culprit soon.
Adding, he said that an appeal will be sent to the ministers including district in-charge minister CT Ravi and home minister R Ashok.
Haji K Ayub, president of Kulur Muhiyuddin Jumma Masjid, Ahmed Basheer, secretary, Mohammed Haneef, member, Noufal Bava, member among others were present.
