Mangalore, Nov 21: When the son of the family grows up and earns it brings a sense of satisfaction among the parents. When he sends a part of his income, it is truly contentment for the parents. But when the son disappears mysteriously, there can be no greater despair for parents.
The tragic incident took place in Belthangady taluk’s Puttahalli in Naavoor. Harish (26), son of couple Anni Poojary and Muttakka after completing journalism when to a far off city in search of job and did not return even after two years.
The couple has with two sons and a daughter, and Harish is the second child. After his younger sister’s wedding, Harish went to Mysore in search of job and worked as an accountant in a bar-and-restaurant. He used to send a part of his income to his parents back home.
Harish who later joined a computer organization was in close contact with the family in the beginning. But as days passed his mobile appeared to be switched off. The worried parents tried to contact him several times but failed. As a last-ditch attempt Umesh's relative went in search of him, but found that there was no such organization as Harish had spoken of.
Meanwhile, the parents continue to wait for him, hoping that one day they would hear from him. Harish is said to have good reputation among family and friends.
He is 5.1 feet tall, with wheatish complexion, and has on mark over his fore-head. He has thick moustache. He is fluent in Tulu, Kannada, and English.
