Kundapur: Gonsalves Sisters Win Accolades at National Level Karate Championship

Kundapur, Nov 20: Riya Joyleen Gonsalves and Risha Jesika Gonsalves have won the National Level Karate Championship organized by the Goju Ryu Karate Do association of Karnataka which was held between November 16 to November 18 at Kundapur.

Riya secured the first place in Kata, second place in Team Kata, and second place in Kumite, while her sister Risha won the first place in Kumite.

They are the daughters of Ravi Prakash and Jyothi Gonsalves of Brahmavar.

Riya is studying in ninth standard and Risha in fourth standard at the GM Vidyanikethan Public School, Brahmavar.

Both Riya and Risha won the championship under the guidance and support of Kiran Kundapur and Shashnak Shenoy.
