Mangalore, Nov 19: The Department of Physiotherapy, Father Muller Medical College is organizing a Two Day National Level conference on Neuro physiotherapy at Father Muller Medical College on November 23 and November 24, as stated by Fr Dennis D’Sa, administrator, FMCON.
He was speaking at a press meet held in the press club on Monday, November 19 at 11:30 am.The inaugural will be held at 9:30 am on November 23 in the Deccennial Memorial Hall of FMCI Campus.
Dr K Mohandas, vice chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences will inaugurate the conference. Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions will preside over the function, he said.
There will be two pre conference and one post conference workshops, on November 21 , November 22 and November 25 respectively. The unique feature of the Colloquium is the inclusion of patients representatives in rehabilitation by involving neurologically impaired individuals as part of the proceedings, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Narasimhan S, organising chairman said that around 200 delegates from various parts of the country and few overseas delegates will be participating.
Speakers invited for the colloquium include international faculty from Europe and Australia and various parts of India who will be deliberating on various aspects of Neuro rehabilitation.
Sydney Roshan Rebello, organizing secretary; Sudeep Pais, treasurer and Vanitha D’Souza, joint secretary were also present.
