Mangalore: Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Yuvavahini Central Committee Held

Mangalore, Nov 3: The silver jubilee celebration of Yuvavahini Central Committee was held at Shree Gokarnanatheshwara Auditorium, Kudroli, here, on Saturday November 3 at 10.30 am.

The programme was inaugurated by lighting the auspicious lamp by justice Manohar Bijoor and other dignitaries Dr K B Suresh, Dr Sharmila Bhoja Poojary, Sanjeeva Suvarna, K Vishwanath and Ravichandra.

Speaking after the inauguration, justice Manohar Bijoor congratulated Yuvavahini on completing 25 years of its successful existence. Creating awareness among the youth is very much needed in today’s world and Yuvavahini has been doing such work, he said.

"The association has been helping the youth in bringing them to the mainstream. The poorer students of the society have been receiving a lot of support from this team. The team has been following and working in the footsteps of Narayana Guru", he added.

Dr K B Suresh and Sr Sharmila also spoke on the occasion and lauded the association for its hard work and dedication towards the society.

Official website of Yuvavahini designed by Naveen Poojary was also launched on the occasion by Dr K B Suresh.

Kishore K Bejai welcomed the gathering. Thukaram S read the report. The programme was compered by K Rajeev Poojary and Naresh Kumar Sasihithlu.

Large number of members and well-wishers were present on the occassion.
