Mangalore: Yuvavahini to Celebrate Silver Jubilee on Nov 3, 4

Mangalore, Oct 30: Kishore K Bejai, president of Yuvavahini Kendra committee at a press meet held here on Tuesday October 30 said that Yuvavahini will celebrate its silver jubilee and hold Vishukumar Award conferring ceremony on November 3 and November 4 at Kudroli Gokarnatheshwara Kshetra.

Yuvavahini Kendra was formed in order to recognize the talents of the youth in the Billawa community. The community is following the principles of Shree Bhramashree Narayana Guru, he said.

"High court chief justice B Manohara Beejoor will be inaugurating the silver jubilee celebration," he added.
 
The silver jubilee celebrations committee has also planned to organize seminars on topics like 'Billawa Community and Organization', 'Billawa Women Then and Now' and 'Youth and Future Development'.

On November 4 achievers will be felicitated and special books by various writers will be released. On the same day the valedictory of the silver jubilee celebrations will be held and new committee representatives for a one-year term will be appointed.

T Narayana Poojary, working president of the silver jubilee welcome committee, K Vishwanath, convener, Sanjeeva Suvarna, chief secretary, Ravindra, director of the convention and secretary of silver jubilee celebration committee, Sadhu Poojary, convener and other members and representatives of the committee were present.

    It is heartening to hear that Yuvavahini Kendra is celebrating its silver jubilee.My request with Yuvavahini Kendra committee is that seminar topic should also cover education among Billavas and eradicate illetaracy and poverty since vast majority people are still under economicaly weaker section we should achive 100%literacy. People should also guided not to be proveked in the name religion as Bajarangi. all the best.
