Mangalore: Popular Front of India Mega Convention on November 2

Mangalore, Oct 31: With an aim to spread awareness among people about the activities of PFI, the association unit in Dakshina Kannada will organize a convention at Nehru Maidan on November 2, said Athaulla A M, state committee member of PFI.

He addressed the press persons at a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands here on Tuesday October 30.

Abdul Razaq Kemmar, state committee member said that the PFI is holding a national-level campaign from October 10 to November 10. In this regard the PFI of Dakshina Kannada is organizing convention on November 2 with participation of Udupi district unit too.

He said that PFI organization fights for the people’s rights instituted in the constitution irrespective of caste, creed or any other factors. But these days it is being pointed out in various fake allegations that the members are involved in moral policing. This is not true, he added.

Kemmar said that, all necessary arrangements have been made for the PFI convention. Around 10,000 members are expected to participate, he said.

Nazir MH, district president, Abdul Majeed BM, district chief secretary, Shahul Hameed, PFI president of Bantwal among others were present.
