Mangalore, Oct 26: “Homage to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Congress Seva Dal Booth Level Convention will be held on October 31 at Town Hall”, informed South India Seva Dal in-charge, Vinay Kumar Sorake.







 

He was addressing the media at the press meet held at the district Congress office on Friday October 26.

The programme will begin with hoisting of flag at 10 am, followed by inauguration of registration at 10.30 am and the meet, said Sorake,

There are totally 54,000 Booths in Karnataka, with 1,500 booths in DK district. Variety of programmes will be organized with a view to strengthen Seva Dal around the nation. In the coming days, training programme to be organized in every legislative limit, he added.

Akhila Bharath Congress secretary, B K Hariprasad, central minister, Dr M Veerappa Moily, ex-minister, B Janardha Poojary, Pramod Pande, S R Patil, Beema Shanker, Motamma and other leaders will take part in the convention.

The convention will be held under the leadership of DK district Congress president, B Ramanath Rai. It will include lectures on the importance, workings of Congress and Seva Dal.

KPCC Secretary, Ivan D’Souza, Seva Dal District Organizer, Ashraf, T K Sudhir, Hilda Alva were present during the meet.
