Mangalore, Oct 26: Bajpe airport guards caught hold of a man suffering from mental illness when he tried to enter the airport premises here on Thursday October 25.

Sources said that the person was wandering near Bajpe from past two to three weeks.

The airport security guards arrested him when he tried to enter the place by escaping the eyes of the security personnel.

He was handed over to Bajpe police. He was then taken to the primary health center where the medical representatives declared him to be mentally ill.

    It is a security lapse of the Airport officials,CISF & the Bajpe Police.Action should be taken against them for negligence.Just imagine if he was carrying a weapon or bomb in guise of being retarded ?

    Airport area is always fully secured.When this man is wondering from last 3-4 Weeks ,Why the security persons not took the action? Is it not Security Lapse?.
