Kundapur, Oct 17: Bangalore entrepreneur Lakshmi Saanth Bhat, initiated the renovation programme of Hindu Cremation Ground under the Kotteshwara grama panchayat limits.
Totaly Rs 4 lac is required for the renovation of Hindu graveyard out of which Rs 2 lac will be borne by the local gram panchayath and the remaining money will be given by Lakshmi Saanth Bhat in memory of his parents. He laid the foundation stone for the construction work.
The programme was headed by Kotteshwara Pattabi Ramachandra, temple priest Shrinivasa Bhat, who performed religious rituals.
Kotteshwara Hindu Rudraboomi renovation committee president Ganesh Kamath, Shankar Kamath, panchayath vice president Chandra Devadiga, member Ranganath Bhat, Rajashekar shetty, Ravindra Dodamani, Makhi Ramesh, Shekar Moogaveera, PDO HV Ibrahimpur, gram panchayath staff Sathyanarayan Joghi, former member Shripathi Hebbar, Madhavaraya Kamath, Rathnakara Kamath, Kotteshwara agricultural cooperative society director Buddharaj Shetty and all members were present for the occasion .
Electricity Connection
ZP panchayath member Ganapathi Shreeyan initiated electricity connection to five Anganawadis under the limits of Beejadi and Gopadi on Monday, which was provided by the taluk panchayat.
Taluk panchayat member Lakshman Moogaveera, gram panchayath president Jyothi Moogaveera, member Ravindra Dodmani, Vadhiraj Hebbar, Suresh Shetty, Ragavendra Achar and electricity contractor Shekar Poojary were present on the occasion.
Cleaning Programme
Students of Shrimathi Rukmeni Shedthi memorial first grade college, Barkoor, organized a voluntary cleaning campaign, near Ankadakate in Varnara colony on Monday October 15.
PDO V Ibrahimpur, gram panchayath members Sathyanaryan Jogi and Rajashekar Shetty were present.
