Padma Bhushana Dr Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra – Dharmasthala, Karnataka, graced the occasion by his presence during the course of the Pooja. It was a great honour to all the Billawa community members in Oman to have Dr Heggade amongst them on this auspicious occasion
During his interaction with the large gathering of over 450 devout Billawas, Dr Heggade explained that by performing Sathyanarayana Pooja we are able to gain control over the three Indriyas viz., Karmendriya, Gnanendriya and Yogendriya. He reiterated that this is possible only by doing atma shuddhi, by fasting and controlling the mind which will bring the human being closer to God. It was a golden opportunity to have a close Darshan of Dr Heggade and to listen to his Sambhashan on that day.
Brahmasri Narayana Guru graced the occasion by His benign presence and with abundant love in making the event a grand success.
It was a combined effort by each and every member of the Billawa community in Oman which could put together such a beautiful spiritual event at the Temple Hall.
