Hubli, Sep 27 (DHNS) : Spice Jet Airlines, a private airline, will launch its service between Hubli and Bangalore from Thursday night.
In response to the demand by the people of north Karnataka, the airline has decided to expand it service.
The flight, ‘SG 1087’ that arrives from Coimbatore in Bangalore, will leave for Hubli at 7.50. It will reach Hubli at 8.45 pm. Another flight, ‘SG 1088’, will depart from Hubli at 9.05 pm and arrive at Bangalore at 10 pm.
The service will be extended to Hyderabad, said an official.
The fare for travelling in the 78-seater aircraft will be fixed at Rs 1,999, apart from the taxes.
The airline services will be launched in Belgaum, providing connectivity to Mumbai and there is also demand for the services during day time, said K M Basavaraju, Director of Hubli Airport.
