Mangalore, Aug 26: Oscar Fernandes, Rajya Sabha MP inaugurated the Mangalore branch of Lakshmi Gold Palace, a unit of Lakshmi Gold Khazana Pvt Ltd, here at KSR Road in Kodialbail on Saturday August 25.
After the inaugural, Oscar Fernandes said that K P Nanjundi, president of Vishwakarma Samaj and the proprietor of Lakshmi Gold Palace, apart from establishing business in Mangalore has also created job opportunities for the people of the city.
The sole success of Nanjundi is because of his dealings as a transparent business thereby providing high quality gold jewellery to the poor and middle class sections of the society.
All three sections, Lakshmi Silk Palace, and Lakshmi Gold Loan and Gold Palace, that are located in the same showroom, were also inaugurated at the occasion.
K P Nanjundi, proprietor of LPG, informed that the company plans to set up 18 branches in the state namely, Hubli, Mysore, Mandya, Belgaum, Dharwad, Gadag and Hassan in the next six years. Two branches in Domlur (Bangalore) and Dharwad are already in the stage of construction and will be ready by December. Over 600 crores of revenue is generated per annum, he said.
Gold loans will be provided at 1.25 -1.75 percent interest rate. There is also a facility for clients to verify the purity of their ornaments free of cost.
