Mangalore, Aug 25: “Speak, Read and write in  Konkani " said professor Vincent Alva former member of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy and noted Konkani writer  to the youth on August 23.

 He was speaking during Konkani Manyata Divas celebrations at Milagres College jointly organised by AICUF Milagres College unit and Konkani Sangatan Udupi Jillo.

Principal Dr Neri Corneleo presided over the celebration.
 
President of AICUF. Amritha Silva welcomed the guests and Joylin Fernandes compered the programme.

College youth presented the cultural programme which included Mando dance and other Konkani songs. AICUF director Dr Gerald Pinto directed the programme.
