Mangalore: White Doves Inmates Mark I-Day in Special Way

Mangalore, Aug 16: White Doves celebrated the 66th Independence Day together with White Doves day here on Wednesday August 15 in their premises at Mannagudda.

The programme commenced with a Mass led by Fr Jonhson K P and the White Doves choir.

After the Mass, the flag was hoisted in the premises by the dignitaries namely Roysten Prabhu, president, Karavali Welfare Association, Riyadh, Amitha Prabhu, Allwyn Pinto, Fr Johnson K P, Vitus and Corrine Rasquinha, trustee and president of White Doves and Jerome, secretary, White Doves.

Allwyn Pinto spoke on the importance of the day. Smitha compered the programme. The inmates presented a variety of cultural programmes that won the hearts of the audience. Sports activities were also organized soon after.

Members, staff and well-wishers of White Doves were present.
