Abu Dhabi : B R Shetty's ‘Bright Riders School’ Sprouts up in Zayed City

Abu Dhabi, Aug 16: The Ground Breaking Ceremony of the futuristic Bright Riders School took place onWednesday, 15 August at Mohammed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi. The ceremony was carried out by the Chief Guest, His Excellency M.K. Lokesh, the Indian Ambassador to UAE, in presence of the Guest of Honor,His Excellency Eng. Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Executive Directorof Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC). The function was blessed by the presence of prominent officials of ADEC including Eng. TareqZeyad Al Ameri, Eng. MajedaEasa Al Kait and DaniNajibGreage besides many dignitaries and well-wishers of the community.






Bright Riders School shall provide education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 for more than 4,000 students. This Indian Curriculum School has been approved by ADEC and shall be commissioned by April 2013 in time for the enrollment of students in the Academic year 2013-2014. The edifice will be constructed over a plot area of 36,000 sq.m.by adopting an environment-friendly futuristic design which meets all ADEC requirements as well as in line with international standards for education and safety.
The Ambassador, M.K. Lokesh commended Dr. B.R. Shetty for his noble contributions not only to the Healthcare Sector, but, also to the Education Sector. He believes that the new school will be of great benefit to the large Indian Community.

Eng. Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri complimented the innovative design adopted for the school and was confident that this iconic school will go a long way to meet the aspirations for quality education in the Emirate.

Dr. B.R. Shetty, an eminent Philanthropist and the Chairman of Bright Riders School stated that this will fulfil the long-awaited dream to provide quality Education to the residents of this great country. He thanked ADEC for approving a sizeable piece of land in the prestigious Mohammed Bin Zayed City, which is in the heart of Abu Dhabi. He reiterated that this School is ‘not-for-profit’ and is a part of his continuing CSR initiatives for the benefit of the populace at large.

Unfortunaltey I was told that Bright riders can accomodate only children coming from Sara nursery.
