Kasargod: 19-Year-Old Girl Dies While Crossing Railway Tracks

Kasargod, Jul 11: In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old college student died after being hit by a train near Neeleshwar on Tuesday July 10 morning.

The deceased has been identified as, Ashwini (19), a BSC student in Govind Pai Government College, Manjeshwar.

Ashwini is daughter of auto driver Ashok and Shalini, residents of Nileshwar, Mulapalli.

The incident took place while Ashwini was on her way to college. Sources said that the trains arrived simultaneously on both tracks and resulted in tragic death.

A case is registered at Neeleshwar police station.
