Mangalore: Watchman Dies After Fall from Stairs, Murder Alleged

Mangalore, Jul 3: A watchman at a building in Padil was killed after he rolled down a stair case. The incident occured at Pompei Enterprises in Padil on June 21, but the critically injured man breathed his last on Monday July 2 night.
The deceased has been identified as Laxman. He passed away in a hospital after battling for life for 10 days.
It is now alleged that the death was not an accident, but a murder, and a case in this regard has been filed against the driver of the company Razak.
It is said that on June 21 night, Laxman had been to Razak's room on the first floor of Pompei Enterprises. Razak is said to have questioned him for entering his room when he was supposed to guard the factory downstairs. A fight ensued and in a fit of rage, Razak is said to have pushed Laxman down the stairs.
A critically injured Laxman was rushed to a private hospital in the city, and after 10 days, passed away on July 2 night.
Police have arrested Razak and filed a case of murder against him. Investigations are on.
