Eight Striking Lahore Doctors Charged with Murder


Islamabad, Jul 2 (IANS): Eight doctors on strike have been booked for murder after a critically ill baby died in Lahore, a media report said.

The baby, who direly needed intensive medical care, succumbed to the doctors' strike in Lahore, reported Geo News Monday.

The baby's family accused the protesting doctors of letting the baby die. They believed the baby could have survived had the doctors been on duty, said sources.

The father of the dead baby lodged an FIR eight doctors on the charges of murder.
