He was speaking after inaugurating the Karnataka Janapada Parishat Kerala border unit, during a function held at Sai Mandir, Kilingaru, on Monday June 25.
Karnataka Janapada Parishat central committee president Timme Gowda presided over the programme.
Retired ADGP and Karnataka Janapada Parishat executive committee member K V R Tagore released Kannada book ‘Kasaragodina Konkani Kristaru’ authored by Bela Stany Crasta and lawyer M S Thomas D’Souza.
Tagore conveyed best wishes to the Karnataka Janapada Parishat Kerala border unit led by Jagannath Shetty Kumbla and Abdul Rehman Subbayyakatte.
Kannada Books Authority member Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Karnataka Janapada Parishat Kerala border unit president S V Bhat, Kerala Tulu Academy president lawyer B Subbayya Rai and Suresh Shetty Yeyyady were present.
Karnataka Janapada Parishat Kerala border unit honorary president lawyer M S Thomas D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Jagannath Shetty Kumbla delivered the introductory address. Honorary advisor Professor A Srinat compered the programme. Vice-president Ayeesha Perla proposed the vote of thanks.
