New Delhi, June 19 (IBNS): Differences between former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel and current CM Narendra Modi became wider on Tuesday as Patel visited New Delhi to meet top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders to give momentum to his campaign against Modi.
Patel met senior BJP leader LK Advani on Tuesday and is likely to meet Sushma Swaraj and Murli Manohar Joshi later in the day.
"I am taking a written statement with me.I will show it to first and then I will tell you," Patel told reporters.
"I will meet Murli Manohar Joshi tonight. Nitin Gadkari is in Nagpur because he is busy with his son's wedding. So, I will give them what I have brought in writing. Since, Arun Jaitley is back from his foreign visit I will meet him too. I will also meet Sushma (Swaraj) and other leaders too," he said.
Earlier on Monday, several anti-Narendra Modi leaders including Kanshiram Rana, Suresh Mehta, Nalin Bhatt and Gordhan Zadafia and met at Patel's Gandhinagar residence.
