New Delhi, Jun 18 (IANS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) core group is scheduled to meet Monday to discuss the presidential election and whether it should pit a candidate of its own, a party leader here said.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting Sunday called to discuss the presidential poll remained inconclusive.
"BJP core group is schedule to meet at 9 p.m. today (Monday) at party president Nitin Gadkari's residence to discuss presidential election," a BJP leader told IANS.
Senior BJP leader L.K. Advani has been given the responsibility to talk to all stake holders as the NDA also is to call a meeting of its chief ministers in a couple of days.
