Mangalore: 'Bangarda Kural' Completes 50 Days - to be Screened in Gulf Soon

Mangalore, Jun 15: 'Bangarda Kural', Tulu movie is all set to create a record of sorts in the Tulu film industry, with its release in theatres abroad by the end of this month.
The movie will be released in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah on June 21, and in Muscat in September. It will premiere in Mumbai on June 24.
The 42nd Tulu movie to released in theatres, 'Bangarda Kural' stepped into its 50th day of screening in DK and Udupi districts on Friday June 15.
On the occasion, Ram Shetty, director and script writer addressed the gathering at Jyothi theatre and said that the movie will be screened in the theatres of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah on June 21. It will also be screened in Muscat in September.
"In addition, we will screen the movie in the three theatres of Bangalore, Mumbai, Nasik and Pune. I also have plans to screen it across Europe, so as to entertain the Tulunada people worldwide," he said.
Ram Shetty thanked each and everyone for their support in making his dream a reality and a success. He specially thanked Sri Niranjana Swamiji of Sunkadakatte for his constant support to him and Umanath Kotian of the state Tulu Academy.
Amaranth Shetty, Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, P B Harish Rai, producer Adyar Madhava Naik, Deepak Shetty, Jaganath Shetty and TammaLaxman were among the other artistes present.
Tulu film 'Bangarda Kural' under the banner of Anand Films also set a record by releasing simultaneously in as many as seven theatres across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on April 27 this year. In Mangalore, the film was released at Big Cinemas, and Jyothi theatre, in Moodbidri at Amarashree, in BC Road at Nakshatra, in Puttur at Aruna , in Beltangady at Bharath, and in Udupi at Kalpana theatre.
