Panaji, Jun 9:
Anil Kapoor starring Nayak movie may be a favourite flick of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar but he feels that `the pace at which the chief minister has been shown working in the movie is just impossible.’

“In Nayak movie they may have shown that everything can be done within 24 hours. But in real life it’s not possible,” Parrikar said, reacting to the expectation of the people to set right the things in the state within record time.

“I suppose, if I do it, I will be the first person to face a case before Lokayukta,” said the chief minister.

Nayak: The Real Hero (2001) is a story about journalist-turned-politician who becomes the most popular chief minister of Maharashtra due to his quick actions.

Parrikar, whose BJP, managed to sweep March 3 Goa Legislative Assembly polls, has been under immense pressure to perform, after poor output of former Digambar Kamat led government.

Soon after taking over the reign, the chief minister had said that he had a pile of 12,000 files pending to be cleared. He had said that he will take at least six months to get the state back on the track.
