Kiev, May 30 (IANS): Ukraine's manager Oleg Blokhin announced his final squad for Euro 2012, trimming his initial choice from 26 players to 23 ahead of the June 8-July 1 tournament.
Goalkeeper Oleksandr Bandura, who lost a chance to make his international debut in Monday's 4-0 win against Estonia, was dropped along with defender Vitaliy Mandzuk and midfielder Taras Stepanenko.
During the championship Blokhin will rely mostly on players from the Ukrainian league, reported Xinhua.
Ukraine will kickoff its Euro 2012 campaign June 11, against Sweden.
