Two Toddlers Killed in France Fire

Paris, May 28 (IANS): A fire broke out in a home in France Sunday, killing two toddlers -- aged 18 months and four years -- and asphyxiating their five-year-old sister, media reports said.

The blaze occurred in Libourne in southwest France, Xinhua reported citing RTL radio.

The children's mother jumped from a window to escape the fire, the report said.

Two hours before the fatal incident in Libourne, a fire in a seven-storey building in Paris's 20th arrondissement region injured at least 17 people.
