Seven Killed in Japan Hotel Fire


Tokyo, May 13 (IANS): Seven people were killed and three injured Sunday when a fire broke out at a hotel in southwestern Japan, a media report said.

The fire occurred at Hotel Prince in Fukuyama city at around 7 a.m.

Three men and four women were killed, reported Xinhua citing the media report.

Three were injured, one of whom was in a critical condition.

Police said some 20 guests were staying at the three-storey hotel when the incident took place.
