Kolkata, May 7 (IANS): Describing the talks with Hillary Clinton as positive and constructive, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Monday said the US secretary of state has expressed the US' desire to invest in West Bengal.
"The talks with Hillary Clinton have been positive, constructive, creative and concrete. She has congratulated the new government of Bengal and has lauded the way state government is performing," said Banerjee after meeting Clinton at the state secretariat here.
"They have expressed the desire to invest in Bengal as a partner state," she said.
Banerjee also said there was no discussion on the Teesta Water Treaty with Bangladesh.
