Mangalore, May 6: Indian pacer S Sreesanth, who is currently nursing an injury and is out of the team, landed in the city on Sunday May 6 before heading to Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple, Kundapur.
The visit took people at the airport by surprise and some of them rushed to him for autographs and handshakes.
Sreesanth has been told to undergo a couple of surgeries on his injured toes on both legs. He has been advised rest for at least five months.
At Kollur Temple he offered prayers and sought blessings for a quick recovery.
Speaking to the media at Mangalore Airport, Sreesanth hinted at the possibility of flying to London for treatment.
His injury ruled him out of the IPL season too. It's been a year since he played for the national team.
