Dubai: Kannada Movie 'Anna Bond' to Release in UAE on May 3

Dubai, May 1: Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar's latest movie 'Anna Bond' will be released in theaters in Dubai and Sharjah on Thursday May 3 and Friday May 4.

The movie has been produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar, wife of the late Dr Rajkumar.



Kannada movie fans can rush to Concorde theatre in Sharjah, Galeria in Dubai Cinema and Bollywood Cinema in Al Quoz Mall on both days to watch their favourite stars.

It is indeed a great opportunity for Kannada cinema lovers in the UAE to watch this much-awaited movie close to their homes.

Apart from Puneeth, the star cast includes Nidhi Subbaiah, Priyamani, Anant Nag and even Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff.

    Rightly commented MKS. We, Kannadigas are more interested to get RAJYA PRASHASTHI, Nationla Awards etc etc. Just to get show-off thats all.
    Why can't so called great personalities put their effort in atleast provide direct multiple air-lines service to Mangalore or even other parts of Karnataka?. Still v hv to depend on our great sophesticated IXE service......

    I think Anna Bond is totally HODI BADI movie.I got this opinion after reading preview of this film. This movie is definitely for Puneeth fans.I saw only one kannada film in 10years..Mungaru Male.Ganesh's natural acting,songs,photography imressed me very much.As I am staying infront of Sharjah Concord theatre,I am eager to watch Kannada movie..but I want reality in movie which I get in Malayalam movies.

    Nice & proud to know that Kannada picture is being screened in UAE. We talk & celebrate lots of Kannada events here in UAE but KANNADA is neglected even by Kannadigas. Just an example, what effort is beingmade to get Kannada channels in E-Vision. 5-6 yrs back a small effort is made by requesting all the Etisalat/E-Vision authorities to include Kannada channels ( 3-4 reminders & request). In reply they were mentioning about sponsors , if someone sponsors they will telecast a movie in Kannada every week , which they did & thanks to the sponsor . This wa s running for 2-3 months then suddenly Stopped.
    After 2 yrs with support & effort of few Kannadigas we could able to get ONLY ONE paid Kannada channel in E-Vision( SUN TV) . But in Malayalum 10-13 free channels , Tamil-6-7 free channels & Telugu -1 free channel. . I feel Kannadigas are more in numbers than Telugu people , still they have one free channels whereas Kananda No free channels. Even if try some online channels everything is free .But Kannada is either paid or limited access or Not at all available...
    This is the state of Kannada

    Good to know AnnaBond getting screened in Dubai/UAE when it is not possible to see a Kannada movie in neighbouring states for not months but years together...last was Mungaru maley !when crappy movies of their languages are having a field day here....What a shame ! We should not allow other lang movies who don't allow Kannada movies in their cities/states.

    Good to see banner for Kannada Movie which we miss a lot to watch in ruwi - muscat instead of releasing movie in dubai it should have been released in OMAN or in Bahrain so much of kanada fans from our coastal or villagers would have made it a hit any way a good move.

    Yes, I agree with "VAN, BAHRAIN". Please consider to release at least in one theatre. Every Malayalam/ Tamil movies releases in Bahrain and why not for Kannada, even its impossible to get Kannada movie / audio disks in Bahrain.

    Why it is not possible to release this movie in Bahrain? Volunteer organization of karnataka and udupi restaurants across Bahrain please consider my request to release this movie in Bahrain. As per public review this is the best movie of "Appu-Puneeth". There is one medley songs of rajkumars old movies where actresses like Jayapradha, Jayanthi, Saritha, Damayanthi etc.... danced with Puneeth. Eagerly waiting for release in the Kingdom.....
