Doha, Apr 10 : The Goan Welfare Association (GWA), Qatar is all set to organize their 12th Annual May Queen Ball (a dinner dance) the most successful and colourful social annual gathering promises to be fun filled event on 3rd May 2012 at the Ramada Plaza Doha Hotel from 8.30 pm onwards. The May Ball event has been growing in stature with every passing year. Due to the tremendous public demand, India’s most celebrated and Goa’s number one band “Forefront” will be flown in once again to render the exhilarating performances. The highlight of the event will be Crowning of 12th May Queen by the most popular bollywood stars, said president of the Goan Welfare Association Simon D’Silva.

FOREFRONT have blazed the real of the music world with their sensational blend of vocals, instruments, rhythm, visual technique in trend and showmanship. In the course of career spanning for over 15 years in professional compering Updesh Swar has many first to his credit in hosting, no doubt he is the most sort after host in Goa. He was the official host for the cultural programmes during the PRESIDENT OF INDIA’s visit to Goa in 2001. Hotsed the ARLEM FESTIVAL, the beauty pageant MISS GOA and the INTERNATIONAL FOOD AND CULTURAL FESTIVAL organised by Goa Tourism Dept . On the Occasion of opening of the NEW INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL at the Dabolim airport,Vasco (Goa) and The Opening OF IINTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF INDIA (IFFI) successfully compered the events of the day. Two of India’s leading Pop Artist, both Internationally known REMO FERNANDES & BONDO stage live concert at Goa was entrusted to Updesh to host. Silver Star Appeal campaigns for diabetes awareness an initiative of Rt. Keith Vaz MP, hosted the launch with Superstar Amitabh Bachchan as Chief Guest.
