Beltangady: Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Temple Elephant Dies

Beltangady, Apr 8: Gange, a 55-year-old elephant that had served Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunateshwara temple since 1957, passed away here on Saturday April 7.

Dharmasthala veterinary clinic assistant director Dr Ratnakar Mallya and veterinary officer Jayakirti Jain performed the autopsy on the temple elephant.

Assistant conservator of forests Padmanabha Gowda and ranger Praveen Kumar Shetty were present.
