Mangalore: Kumaraswamy Visits Kavu Panchalingeshwara Temple

Mangalore, Apr 7: Former chief minister of Karnataka and present state president of JD(S) H D Kumaraswamy visited the Kavu Sri Panchalingeshwara Temple, Bajal here on Saturday April 7 at around 12.30 pm.
He was accompanied by a large number of his fans and well-wishers, and offered prayers at the temple.
The BrahmaKalashotsava of the temple is to be held from April 8 to April 13. Kumaraswamy was to attend the formal Brahmakalshotsava inaugural function of the temple on April 8. But due to his busy schedule and other commitments, he will not be able to attend it, and instead made up for it by visiting on Saturday.
In his brief address, he lauded the efforts of the temple in conducting various works and wished the temple committee all success for the upcoming Brahmakalashotsava. He also expressed regret for not being to able to attend its inaugural function as planned earlier.
Vasanth Poojary, M G Hegde, Amarnath Shetty, Noronha, Bhaskar Chandra Shetty, Monappa Bhandary and others were present.
