Mangalore: African Artistes to Provide Visual Treat at Jumbo Circus

Mangalore, Apr 6: A visual treat awaits Mangaloreans with African artistes all set to join the Jumbo Circus that is going on in the city.
A total of eight performers led by Selemani Hamisi Rajabu will be delivering a series of lively performance, said Shree Hari, in-charge, at a press conference here on Friday April 6.
Abubakar Cosmas Mango, Kassim Ally Mitika, Godfri Condradi Panda, Livingstone Richard Masura, Ally Afridi Buza, Rukiya Shabani, Rehama Mashaka Ponda are in the group.
The formation of human pyramid which demonstrates swiftness, endurance, power, speed and perseverance, Limbo dance, fire eating, pole acrobatics and other acts are sure to send the entire audience into raptures, he assured.
Fish act, Russian stick balance and double pole acrobatic by Africans are being performed for the first time in Mangalore, he said.
Elephants worshipping Shiva Lingam and playing cricket, cockatoos riding a chariot will delight children as well as adults, he said.
There are three shows in a day, at 1 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm.
