Now, VIPs to Wait in Queue with Public at Tirupati Temple

Tirupati, Apr 5: All these years, people with VIP passes at Tirupati temple were given preference and did not have to wait like commoners for darshan of Tirumala Venkatesh deity. But not so any more.

From Wednesday April 4, whoever comes for darshan, be it a VIP, VVIP or a commoner, all are considered as equal in front of Lord Tirumala Venkatesh.

The temple has decided to issue only general category tickets to those seeking darshan of Tirumala Venkatesh. VIP, VVIP category  passes have been cancelled with immediate effect.

This was announced by the Tirumala Venkatesha Devastanam (TVD) commitee during an important meeting held on Tuesaday April 3 at Tirupti.

This will force all those politicians, film personalities, sportspersons and all those who use VIP tickets to seek Tirupati darshan, to wait in the queue for hours like any other devotee who visit Tirupati to seek Lord Tirumala's darshan.

One wonders if this move will bring down the number of VIP devotees at Tirupati.

    Good decision by TIRUMALA VENKATESHA DEVASTANAM (TVD)commitee for abolishing the VIP, VVIP category passes with immediate effect. From now on wards very few VIPS and VVIPS will visit Tirupati Temple as they will inferior to stand in Queue with the commoners.

    VIP has to treat as VIP. God made both,rich and poor, if God make all Rich, then no body will be servent. No labours means no houses, all has to built their houses themself. So, if Vip's make to wait in que, God will be unhappy. God made Vip. So treat them as Vip.

    Further, to stop pouring of black money into the Hundies of all religious shrines, it should be made accountable of the source of the donor’s money and other material donations.

    Good VIP to treat same before GOD, even this credit goes to our MANGLORIAN - Sion Koliwada legislator Shriman. Jagannath Shetty who accused and abused and slapping a clerk at Tirupati temple when the latter refused him extra ‘prasad’ even this tug told he is an MLA from CONGRESS PARTY.I don't know like this tugs with black heart why they enter temple premises to pray or for a fight.by the way Good Decision by temple management.

    A very good decision by TVD. In the eyes of God all devotees are equal!! Y some 1 would be treated as VIP in front of God. If some one think himself as VIP/VVIP,let him stay @home. Same practices should be followed in all the temples across the country.
