Bhatkal, Apr 5: A farewell function was given for the outgoing students of Anjuman Degree College and PG centre, Anjuman Abad, here for B Com, M Com, BA, BSc final year students.
The programme commenced with the recitation of Holy Quraan by Mohammed Sabit Kauda of B Com final year, Tarana-e-anjuman by Nadeem Qausain Naity and team. The principle of degree college Dr Nazeer Ahmed welcomed the gathering.
Chief guest of the occasion, Syed Abdur Rahman Batin adddressed the gathering and discussed about the importance of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad bringing revolution and his significant role to give independence to India by his Urdu speeches and Urdu writings. Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad was a pioneer in national integration and also of Urdu literature. He then discussed the importance of Islam, time and the institution in the lives of the students.
Principle of Anjuman Engeenering College spoke to the students regarding their further studies.
Afaque Qamri, lecturer of Anjuman MBA college promoted MBA college and briefly introduce the MBA college to the gathering. Final year students shared their views too. College board secretary Javeed Armar adressed. the gathering. He said, respect for teachers is needed, then only can one succeed in life. Prof A M Mulla, vice principal Jamadar, Prof Ravi Kaikani, Prof Mushtaq Shaik spoke on the occasion.
Kashim Mohammed Ansar, in his presidential address, said that students are going for their higher education out of Bhatkal. He appealed to the students to make use of the facilities provided at the institution.
Rabi Ruknaddin and Mohammed Akeef Sada compered the programme. Yahya Hallare delivered the vote of thanks.
