Mumbai, Mar 23: The office-bearers of metro-based Kulala Sangh led by president P K Salyan met newly-elected Mayor Sunil Prabhu at Brahanmumbai Mahanagar Palike office on Tuesday March 20 and congratulated him with flower bouquets.
Sangh vice-president Devdas L Kulal briefed Prabhu about the social welfare activities undertaken by Kulala Sangh since the past 83 years and also the plans to construct a Kulala Bhavan in Thane district.
Mayor Prabhu complimented Kulala Sangh for its social concern and contributions to the welfare of the community. Meanwhile, he urged the social welfare and voluntary organizations in the metro to help civic authorities in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
Kulala Sangh honorary chief secretary P Shekar Moolya, fund raising committee president Girish B Salian, joint treasurer Jaya S Anchan, student’s wing president Karunakar J Moolya, building committee convener K Gopal Bangera, and social activist Dayanand Amin were present on the occasion.
