Beltangady, Mar 19: Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) approved Rs 40 lac for the year 2012-13, at the rate of Rs 1 lac each, to 40 milk producers’ co-operative societies, that are functioning in Bangalore rural and Ramanagar districts under KMF which produce over 9.00 lac milk per day, for the purpose of constructing their own buildings.
KMF Bangalore has 1,850 milk producers co-operative societies of which 883 have their own buildings. KMF has plans to provide own buildings to 967 co-operative societies. In this backdrop, KMF chairman Dibboor Jayanna and the board of directors had recently sought financial assistance from SKDRDP chairman Dr D Veerendra Heggade.
Accordingly, Dr Heggade approved Rs 40 lac at the rate of Rs 1.00 each to 40 milk producers’ co-operative societies for the year 2012–13.
