Doha: KSQ Indoor Sports Meet Witnesses Enthusiastic Participation

Doha, Mar 4: Karnataka Sangha Qatar's 'Indoor Sports 2012' an event to promote sports among its members was a huge success with hundreds of members taking part in it enthusiastically.
KSQ held indoor sports like chess, carrom and table tennis for its members at ICC premises recently, and the badminton tournament was held March 2 at the Indian Club premises.
The winners of both the events are given below:
Prize distribution ceremony was held at the Indian Club Premises where Ravi Shetty, President Bunts Qatar was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion V S Mannangi, president of KSQ thanked the players and the spectators for their support and announced the intention of organizing even a bigger event next year to accommodate more people. Chief guest of the evening, Ravi Shetty congratulated KSQ for organising the event in a very professional manner and wished them all the best for future events. Trophies were distributed to the winners by KSQ office-bearers and dignitaries present on the occassion. Match referee Binoy of Indian Club were honoured with a memento. KSQ Kabaddi Team which had won the Tournament organised by Tulu Koota was felicitated by Niyaz Ahmed of HBK.
Among those present during the tournament were Tulu Koota president Ramachandra Shetty, Vice President of KSQ Dr. Sanjay Kudari and former president of Tulu Koota Prakashchandra Ajila and many office bearers of Karnataka based organisations were present.
Deepak Shetty, general secretary of KSQ compered the proceedings, Manjunath N handled the prize distribution and Anil Boloor, sports secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
