Mumbai, Mar 2: The 43rd branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited was held at Solitaire Tower, Manpada, Chitalsar, Godbunder, Thane, on Friday March 2.
Billawar Association president and Bank’s director Jaya C Suvarna and chairman Vasudev R Kotian inaugurated the new branch on Friday morning.
The Bank’s director Pushpalata N Salian inaugurated the safe deposit lockers.
Speaking on the occasion, Jaya Suvarna said that new branches are opened in suburban metro with the view of reaching out banking facilities to the common man.
Vasudev Kotian said that Bharat Co-operative Bank has carved a niche in the co-operative sector in the country by offering various banking facilities to a wide section of customers. He added that the new branches will further boost customer services.
The Bank’s directors M B Kukyan, L V Amin, Jyoti K Suvarna, M B Sanil, Y Nagesh, Mohan G Poojary, Shankar D Poojary, Bhaskar M Salian, Ratan U Sanil, Rahit M Suvarna, and CEO C R Mulky were present on the occasion.
Vidwan K Sadashiv Shanti performed ‘puja’ at the new branch.
Llocal corporator Ramachandra Padhare, Solitaire Tower landlords Nirmal Jain and Karthik Jain, Sai Care Logistics Limited CEO Surendra A Poojary, entrepreneur Ashok M Kotian, social activists M N Suvarna, Vishwanath Shetty, Prashant Nayak, Nityanand Belvai, K P Suvarna, K G Raghavendra, Umesh Bangera, V Wadkar, L Danial, Satya Shetty, Vinod Amin, Jayaprasad Shetty, M N Kukyan, S S Poojary, and Rakesh Shah were also present.
Ranjit Amin and Yajnavati R Amin were present during the puja.
The Bank’s chief general manager Prof Shekar Poojary, general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, deputy general managers Vivek S Shanbagh, Shobha Dayanand and Nityanand D Kotian, assistant general manager Ramesh H Poojary, Vishwanat G Suvarna, Dinesh B Salian, Jagdish Narayan, Prabhakar G Suvarna, Navinchandra S Bangera and top officers were present on the occasion.
The new branch manager Nalinakshi Sudhakar welcomed the gathering. Assistant branch manager Ganesh Anchan proposed the vote of thanks.
