Mangalore, Feb 29: Following the claims made by a beauty parlour owner that the February 13 raid on his parlour 'Moon Shine' was 'fixed' by police for not paying 'hafta', three personnel of Kadri police have been suspended.
Among the three are inspector Kiran Kumar, head constable Shivappa and constable Pramod. Their suspension orders will be in place until further notice.

The suspension orders were given by police commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh.
It may be recalled that Kadri police had raided Moon Shine Beauty Parlour and Spa on February 13, and a close to two weeks later, owner Sathish Rai produced CCTV images alleging that Kiran Kumar and other policemen had planted condoms in the parlour drawer and faked the raid as Rai had refused to pay them hafta.
